Solo Aging: A Cooperative Approach (presented by Karpas Health of Mt. Sinai Health System)
Instructor: Sarah Feinmark, LMSW, CDP (former student of GRNN member, Emily Cohen!) of the Entertainment Community Fund
What does it mean to age well? Whether you live alone, have a partner or children, or recognize that you may one day rely on a community beyond your immediate family, planning ahead is one of the greatest acts of self-advocacy. Aging well is not about doing everything alone. It is about intentionally building relationships, making plans, and cultivating community so we can maintain autonomy, have our wishes honored, and continue living according to what matters most. Together, we'll explore practical strategies for maintaining autonomy, planning for the future, and fostering the connections and community that help us thrive at every stage of life.
