Program that features the extraordinary vocalist Meredith Dean Joseph. Her soulful artistry and inspiring presence will bring beautiful and heartfelt dimensions to our seasonal celebration. She is the longtime Director of Music at the Church of St. Francis of Assisi in midtown Manhattan. Her performances include churches and jazz venues across the country, and her recordings have met with acclaim.

Seasonal favorites performed by the orchestra include Sleigh Ridge from Leroy Anderson and traditional Chanukah songs. Other crowd pleasers are a resounding overture from the Canadian Brass and Christmas Eve Sarajevo, played in ruined buildings and bomb craters to honor those killed, becoming a symbol of hope amid the Bosnian conflict. Beloved carols and popular tunes are also planned. It is music for the entire family!

The Pops Music Director, Anthony LaGruth has delighted audiences and critics alike with many exciting performances recognized for their innovative presentation of music. LaGruth is also the Music Director and Principal Conductor of the Livings Symphony Orchestra and the North Shore Music Festival (NY).
